Andrew Emilio DeCesare

Andrew DeCesare's journey is honestly one for the books. The guy kicked off with a wild mix of hustle and nerve—started a textbook rental company in college, sold it before most of us could legally drink (yeah, that’s Chegg), then bailed on the safe corporate cash to chase movies in LA. No trust fund, no connections, just pure stubbornness and a weird love for film. He lands in Los Angeles in 2008, flat broke and basically invisible, but grinds for months, working for free until—boom—he gets a gig on Avatar. Wasn’t supposed to last, but Andrew’s work ethic basically screamed “keep me around,” so he stuck with James Cameron for a year and a half. From there, life goes full movie montage. He hustles on sets for Michael Bay, Christopher Nolan, Katy Perry, and even Paranormal Activity. Somewhere between giant robots and haunted houses, he teams up with stunt legend Mike Gunther, and suddenly Andrew’s running Creative Development at 5150 Action. Fast forward—these two are deep in the Hollywood trenches, pumping out blockbusters for Paramount, Universal, and all the big names. Star Trek Beyond, Bumblebee, Bad Boys for Life, Shang-Chi, Lost City of D—yeah, that list is stacked. 2018 rolls around and Andrew co-writes and co-produces the “Rogue Warfare” trilogy—all shot in California, no less. By the end, he’s earned his stripes in all the big guilds and Rogue Warfare even tops Netflix charts. Now, with 5150 Action, he’s still at it, cranking out new projects and pushing to shake up the whole industry. Never really slows down, does he?
