Priya Prakash Varrier
Priya Prakash Varrier, yeah, you probably know her from that viral wink, but there’s way more to her story. She kicked things off in 2017, strutting her stuff on runways for a bunch of fashion designers, and honestly, she nailed that model-off-duty look. She did her schooling at Sandeepani Vidya Nikethan in Thrissur, then went on to study commerce at Vimala College—because, hey, who says you can’t juggle books and the big screen?
Her first brush with fame was the song “Mele Shoonyagasham” in the movie Thanaha (2018), but things really exploded with Oru Adaar Love (2019). That film, produced by Nithiin, had everyone talking, and not just because of that famous wink. She shared the screen with Noorin Shereef and Roshan Abdul Rahoof, while the script was cooked up by Sarjano Khalid.
Then she dipped her toes into Telugu cinema with 4 Years (2022), playing Yatra—or was it Isabel? The movie credits get a bit tangled, but she held her ground. She also starred in Ishq (2021) alongside Teja Sajja, a remake of the Malayalam original. Jumping languages again, she took on the Kannada film Vishnu Priya (2025) with V.K. Prakash behind the camera.
Bollywood couldn’t ignore her either, so she made her Hindi debut in 3 Monkeys with Arjun Rampal and the Burmawalla brothers directing. Oh, and she’s got projects like Yaariyan 2, Love Hackers, Sridevi, Kolla, and Live lined up. Off-screen, the girl can sing—she’s dropped tracks like “Nee Mazhavillu Polen,” “Ladi Ladi,” and “Pennu.” Not bad for someone who was named Viral Personality of the Year before her first movie even released.
