Marteen
Marteen, born April 6, 2001, out in Berkeley—yeah, that Berkeley—kicked off his story smack in the Bay Area, which, let’s be honest, has churned out its fair share of creative weirdos. He’s one of those rare folks who can actually call themselves both an actor and a composer, which is pretty wild considering most people are lucky if they nail one thing. Seriously, most people can barely pull off both socks matching.
You might’ve spotted his name rolling in the credits for “Halloween Ends” (2022)—that’s right, the slasher franchise that refuses to die, much like its main villain. He brought his own flavor to the project, adding something a little different (and not just another body count, thank God). But he didn’t just pause there, because “Freaky Tales” (2024) has his fingerprints all over it too. The guy’s got range, bouncing from horror to whatever genre that wild ride ends up being.
Growing up in California, surrounded by music and movies and probably a ton of avocado toast, Marteen wasn’t content to just watch from the sidelines. He jumped right in, lending his talents both in front of the camera and behind the scenes, weaving music and performance together like it’s no big deal. He’s got that West Coast vibe—ambitious, laid-back, but sharp as hell when he needs to be. So, whether you’re watching a nerve-wracking Halloween finale or the offbeat chaos of “Freaky Tales,” there’s a good shot you’re catching a piece of what makes Marteen tick. The dude’s just getting started, too.
