Heloísa Périssé
Heloísa Périssé, born smack-dab in the middle of Rio de Janeiro back in August '66, is one of those Brazilian forces of nature you just can’t ignore. She’s not just an actress, she’s a writer too, and honestly, she’s got that infectious energy that seeps into everything she does. Folks probably know her best from "Brazil Avenue" (Avenida Brasil, if you wanna get technical), which kind of exploded on TV in 2012. That show was everywhere – like, even if you tried to avoid Brazilian telenovelas, good luck.
But that’s just part of her story. She also wrote and starred in "O Diário de Tati," which is basically pure comedy gold, and "Sob Nova Direção," a sitcom where she played one of those larger-than-life characters you swear you’ve met before at a bar or at your cousin’s wedding. She’s got a knack for making you laugh and then, outta nowhere, she’ll hit you right in the feels. That’s real talent.
Off-screen, her life’s been pretty colorful too. Since 2004, she’s been married to Mauro Farias, and they’ve got a kid together. Before Mauro, she was married to Lug de Paula and André Mattos—so, yeah, she’s lived a lot of life and isn’t shy about it. Whether she’s cracking jokes or writing scripts, Heloísa’s just one of those people who makes everything a bit brighter and a bit wilder. Brazilian TV just wouldn’t be the same without her, honestly.
