Dexter Sol Ansell

Dexter Sol Ansell, honestly, this kid’s everywhere right now. He’s just landed the role of “EGG” in HBO’s much-hyped Game of Thrones prequel, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, straight from the mind of George R R Martin. Not bad for someone who probably still gets carded for PG-13 movies. Just wrapped up playing Charlie in the adaptation of Charlie and Me (500 Miles) too, which, fingers crossed, should pop into theaters this year. People are buzzing. Thing is, Dexter’s not new to this. He started out at four—yeah, four—on ITV’s Emmerdale as Lucas Taylor. From there, it’s just been one gig after another. He jumped to The Midwich Cuckoos on Sky, tackling the tough role of David Saunders. The dude’s got range. Pulled off ‘Buster’ in Netflix’s Christmas on Mistletoe Farm, which, let’s be real, was a holiday guilty pleasure for a lot of folks. There’s more: he’s popping up in Bob Zemeckis' Here, plus a creepy turn in the horror flick The Moor, and he’s even on Hullraisers for Channel 4. Oh, and if you’re a Hunger Games fan, he played Young Coriolanus Snow in The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. No pressure, right? That film’s been on everyone’s radar. Dexter’s also strutting his stuff as Little Dan in the family adventure Robin and The Hoods, streaming on Sly Cinema. Kid’s résumé is already wilder than most adults’. If you haven’t seen him yet, you probably will soon.
