They’ve been at it for over two decades, hopping from one heavyweight gig to another. Remember Grupo Estação de Cinema? That art house chain that kept indie film alive? Yep, they ran the show there. The Rio International Film Festival? They helped shape that monster, too. Then there’s the tech side: Rain Network, pushing digital cinema into the mainstream before most folks even knew what that meant. MovieMobz? Another notch in the belt, getting indie flicks into theaters when nobody else would touch ’em. Oh, and don’t forget RioFilme—the city’s own distribution company—yeah, they helped run that circus as well. Even Globo’s Pay-TV channels got a taste of their programming smarts.
