But c’mon, that’s not all there is, right? It’d honestly be wild to pretend Detroit doesn’t have its tough sides, but it’s not fair to act like that’s the only story worth telling. Why can’t Detroit have its own goofy, light-hearted comedy? Why does it always have to be this sad, violent drama where the city’s basically a character in a horror movie? Detroit’s got good people, weird stories, and all kinds of fun chaos. That side deserves some time in the spotlight, too. Comedy’s just as real as tragedy, especially in a city with a spirit like that.
