Salvatore Esposito, straight outta Naples and born in 1986, is basically the face you can’t forget if you’ve ever watched Italian crime dramas. The dude kicked off his acting journey at the Beatrice Bracco Theater Academy and sharpened his craft at the School of Cinema in Naples. Not one to stick around, he packed up for Rome, and—no surprise here—landed his first TV gig in 2013 with “Il clan dei camorristi.” But the real game-changer? “Gomorra - the TV series.” He played the lead for all four seasons, turning him into the guy everyone talks about at family dinners, thanks to the insane popularity of the show. But Salvatore’s not just some mobster typecast. In 2016, he played a young gangster in “Lo chiamavano Jeeg Robot,” but then swerved away from that whole scene with films like “Zeta,” “Veleno,” and even a comedy, “Puoi baciare lo sposo” in 2018—yeah, he’s got range.
