Brad Pitt
Brad Pitt, born December '63 in Oklahoma, grew up in Missouri with a school counselor mom and a truck company manager dad. He was one of those high school guys who did a bit of everything—sports, debate, even musicals (imagine that). College had him majoring in journalism at Mizzou, but he bailed just before graduating, packed up, and chased Hollywood dreams in California. Before the fame? He hustled—chauffeuring strippers, hauling fridges, and, yeah, sweating it out in a giant chicken suit outside El Pollo Loco.
Pitt’s acting start was pretty humble, popping up in TV soaps like Another World and Dallas, plus a handful of guest spots through the '80s. Things blew up after he stole a few scenes (and Geena Davis’s heart) in Thelma & Louise. Suddenly, he was getting lead roles—even if early gigs like Johnny Suede and Cool World kinda flopped. But then came A River Runs Through It, and people finally realized the guy was more than just a jawline.
After that, Pitt went wild with his choices—comic stoner in True Romance, dreamy vampire in Interview with the Vampire, tortured detective in Se7en, and a total lunatic in Twelve Monkeys (snagging a Golden Globe for that last one). He showed up as Achilles in Troy, then locked horns (and lips) with Angelina Jolie in Mr. & Mrs. Smith, which, yeah, caused serious tabloid fireworks since he split from Jennifer Aniston for Jolie.
Since then, Pitt’s kept mixing it up, going from blockbuster animation (Megamind) to critical darlings like Inglourious Basterds and The Tree of Life. He’s racked up Oscar nominations and kept working with Hollywood’s best, all while juggling family life with Jolie and their six kids.
