Giju John
Giju John, originally from India and now making waves in the US, is one of those guys who just can't sit still—he acts, he produces, and he’s all about the Indian film scene. He first popped up in the South Indian film circuit with “Ranam – Detroit Crossing” back in 2018. Not a bad way to kick things off, honestly. But things got really wild for him when he landed a spot in “Lucifer” (2019), which, by the way, basically exploded at the box office and had Mohanlal—the kind of actor who needs no introduction—leading the charge. Then he showed up in “Forensic” (2020), playing a role that actually mattered, not just some blink-and-you-miss-it cameo. And more recently, he’s in “Kumari” (2022), so the guy’s definitely not slowing down.
But Giju’s not just hanging around in front of the camera. He actually started out producing indie films, which is kind of badass if you think about how tough that world is. Some of his credits as a producer include “Nirmal Anand ki Puppy” (2020), “Shreelancer” (2017), “Hola Venky” (2014), and “Love, Wrinkle-free” (2011)—all indie projects that, honestly, have a bit of a cult vibe. Plus, he helped bring the series “Metro Park” (2019, 2020) to life, which people genuinely love for its quirky take on Indian-American life. So, whether he’s acting or producing, Giju’s got his hands in all sorts of creative pies—and he doesn’t seem like he’s about to stop anytime soon.
