Casper Knopf
Casper Knopf’s been all over the place lately—seriously, the guy barely sits still. Just wrapped up work on the new Bridget Jones flick, “Mad About The Boy,” where he’s actually playing Billy, Bridget’s son this time around. Pretty wild, right? That’s a big one. But it’s not like he’s new to this. If you’ve scrolled through Netflix recently, maybe you caught him in “Rough Diamonds,” shot over in Antwerp. He’s got a knack for turning up in international stuff—like “Halo” season one, where he was Young John (yep, Master Chief himself) for Paramount, running around Budapest pretending to save the universe or whatever.
Not stopping there, he nabbed a role in Amazon’s “How To Date Billy Walsh.” Played the younger version of the main guy, so, flashbacks galore. He’s also popped up in “Silent Witness,” season 27, playing young Lee in the first two episodes. The guy hops from genre to genre like it’s nothing.
And get this—he jumped into theater too. End of 2023, he was onstage at The Donmar Warehouse for “Macbeth,” juggling three roles: Macduff’s Son, Fleance, and Young Siward. Not exactly small potatoes. He’s set to do it all over again when the play moves to the West End. Seems like wherever you look—screen or stage—Casper’s making moves. Keep an eye on him.
