Vishwak Sen, originally born Dinesh Naidu, is one of those guys who just keeps popping up in Telugu cinema, always with a new trick up his sleeve. He switched up his name on his dad’s advice—some numerology thing, you know how parents get. Before he was all over the big screen, he went to Little Flower College in Hyderabad for journalism, then ditched the notepad for the stage at Anupam Kher’s Actors Prepares in Mumbai. Can’t say he played it safe. His first big leap came with Vellipomakey in 2017, playing Chandrashekar in a bittersweet love story. The film made enough noise to land him a SIIMA nomination, not bad for a new kid. Next, he jumped into the wild ride that was Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi (2018), a comedy-drama that basically became a cult favorite among twenty-somethings. He snatched up a Best Debut Actor award at the Santosham Film Awards for that one. But the real game-changer was Falaknuma Das in 2019. Not only did he star, but he also wrote and directed—talk about a multitasker. His dad, Karate Raju, even produced it. After that, he took on the role of a troubled cop in HIT (2020), a suspense thriller that got enough buzz for Bollywood to remake it. He’s bounced around genres since—playing lovestruck Prem in Paagal (2021), the relatable Arjun Kumar Allam in Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam (2022), and even showing up in remakes like Ori Devuda. The guy’s everywhere: Mukhachitram, HIT: The 2nd Case, Das Ka Dhamki, Gaami, and even a cameo in October 31st Ladies Night.
