Sofia Lesaffre
Sofia Lesaffre? Yeah, she’s as Parisian as a flaky croissant, born right in the city. Her grandma basically nudged her into the film world back in 2009, landing her a tiny part in Les Mythos a couple years later. Not a bad way to start, honestly. Fast forward three years, and she really pops onto the radar with Les trois frères, le retour, playing Bernard Campan’s daughter. That wasn’t just a blink-and-you-miss-it role either—people started paying attention.
From there, things kind of snowballed. She picked up a role in All Three of Us, then dove into some heavier territory with Le ciel attendra. Oh, and there’s La nuit rebelle, where she’s out here kidnapping the boss’s kid—classic movie chaos. But 2017, man, that’s the big one. She lands the lead in Seuls, this wild sci-fi where she’s basically left to fend for herself in a world gone empty. Not your average teenage experience.
After that, Sofia’s career just keeps picking up steam. She’s the star in Pour vivre heureux, a Belgian romance drama that made some noise, and then she’s in Les Misérables, pulling off a memorable scene with those intense BAC cops. Netflix comes calling, and bam, she’s playing Sami Bouajila’s daughter in Earth and Blood, which is just full-on violent and gritty.
She’s been bouncing between TV and film ever since, turning up in Ganglands, A Tale of Love and Desire, Selon la police, and even the horror flick Deep Fear. Plus, she’s still got that Belgian cinema connection with Habib, la grande aventure. Oh, and she even got a César nod back in 2015 for Most Promising Actress. Not too shabby.
