Anna Castillo
Anna Castillo, born in Barcelona on October 9, 1993, basically grew up with one foot on the stage. Seriously, kid was just seven when she started training in all sorts of artsy schools across Barcelona and Madrid. While most of us were probably still figuring out how to tie our shoes, Anna was already hustling in music and dance classes. Then, wild twist—she joined the band sp3 in 2005, and stuck with them until about 2011, racking up fans and probably a few wild stories in the process.
After sp3, Anna didn’t just chill out and call it a day. Nope, she snagged a Bachelor of Arts in 2011 and launched herself headfirst into acting. TV, movies, whatever came her way—she nailed it. She started popping up in some seriously popular series and a handful of films, slowly but surely making a name for herself in the Spanish entertainment scene.
The big break? That came in 2016. Anna blew everyone away with her role in El Olivo and snagged the Goya Award for Best New Actor. Not exactly something you see every day—she basically went from band member to award-winning actress in a handful of years. So yeah, Anna Castillo: not just another face in the crowd. She's got talent, hustle, and a pretty wild story for someone who hasn't even hit forty yet.
