Liang Shi

Liang Shi’s career is kind of wild when you look at it. He kicked things off back in ‘95 over in France with Patronus, which, honestly, not many actors can say. That’s a pretty bold launch, right? Fast forward a bit, and he’s in the thick of a suspense flick, Looking for a Gun, in 2001. Just a year later, he’s flipping the script and diving into a biopic, CEO. Guy’s got range, no question. Then there’s 2006, where he’s suddenly on TV with Drug Enforcement Heroes. He seems to bounce between genres like it’s nothing. By 2008, he’s the main guy in The Sky Is Shining, which, from what people say, is a military drama with some actual heart to it. Not just guns and uniforms—feelings, too. Come 2009, he switches things up again, jumping into hosting with Beijing TV’s Archives. But he doesn’t ditch acting—same year, he’s leading in Anti-drug Pioneer, which, yeah, is another gun-heavy police drama, this time on CCTV 8. The guy doesn’t sleep, apparently. 2010 rolls around and he’s in Cockfight, a feature film, then by 2012 he’s hosting again, this time diving into mysteries with Anhui satellite TV. Spy drama No War? He’s in that, too. And Save: Diary of Drug Rehabilitation Center. Dude’s everywhere. Couple years later, 2015, you catch him in Impression of Love and Prosecutor, both as the main guy. Then, almost like a mic drop, he stars in Nara’s Running Away in 2018. The man just doesn’t stop.
