Storyline
Lucia’s world flips upside down after her brother dies unexpectedly. She barely knew Mariana, her brother’s fiancée, but somehow, the grief shoves them together. At first, it’s all awkward silences and stumbling over condolences, but slowly, they start to find comfort in each other. They trade stories about him—some funny, some heartbreaking—and realize they’ve both got holes to fill. The more time they spend together, the more Lucia sees Mariana not just as a connection to her brother, but as her own person. Feelings get messy. What starts as shared loss turns into something deeper, and suddenly Lucia’s looking at her life sideways. She’s got a husband waiting at home, a routine she could slip back into, but the idea of leaving Mariana behind feels impossible. So, there she is, standing at this emotional fork in the road, trying to figure out if she should stick with the familiar or take a leap into something new and totally unpredictable. No easy answers—just a whole lot of heart.
