Storyline
Nancy Vandergroot basically lives the American dream—white picket fence, perfect husband, sweet son, and those endless fields of tulips in Holland, Michigan. Everyone in town knows her, thinks she’s got it all together. But honestly? Things aren’t as squeaky clean as they look. She starts picking up on weird vibes, thanks to a chatty coworker who’s way too curious for their own good. What starts as harmless gossip spirals fast. Nancy finds herself knee-deep in a conspiracy nobody warned her about, peeling back layers of secrets that just keep getting uglier. The deeper she digs, the more she realizes her “perfect” life is actually built on a pile of lies, deceit, and pretty dark stuff. The husband everyone loves? Yeah, he’s hiding way more than a dirty lawnmower. Even her role in the community starts to feel fake, like she’s been playing a part in someone else’s twisted story. By the end, nothing’s what it seemed, and Nancy’s left wondering if she ever really knew her own family or herself at all.
