Not only has she got that “Academy-recognized” thing going for her (which, let’s be real, not everyone can brag about), but she’s also snagged awards left and right for her work behind the camera. If you’ve wandered the festival circuit, her films have probably crossed your path—Alone With You, Accidental Stars, LVRS, and Bed have all made the rounds at genre powerhouses like Sitges, Fantastic Fest, Brooklyn Horror, Telluride Horror, Film Quest, BIFAN, Salem Horror, and Fantasia. Basically, if it’s a cool festival, she’s been there. Her screenplay ACHE didn’t just linger in the slush pile; it punched through as a quarterfinalist in the 2020 Academy Nicholl Fellowship. Not too shabby, right? Her debut feature Alone With You didn’t just premiere at Fantastic Fest—it walked away with a freakin’ Fangoria Chainsaw Award in 2023.
