This guy Roger? Oh, he’s everywhere—Hollywood, Bollywood, you name it. Three-time Best Actor nominee, critically hyped, and honestly, the dude’s IMDb page is a rabbit hole. He bounces between American shows and films and the Indian scene, playing everything from an all-American dude to Middle Eastern kings to Indian dads, and somehow nails all the accents. His trophy shelf? Two Filmfare Best Actor nominations (which, if you don’t know, is basically the Indian Oscars) and another two nods at the South India International Movie Awards. So yeah, not exactly a lightweight. His film credits are stacked. He was in The Man Who Knew Infinity (yes, that one on Netflix), which made the rounds at every major film fest. Cannes? Check. Tribeca? Yup. San Francisco? Of course. He even had a hand in developing the thing. He’s done voice work in Eat Pray Love and Mission Impossible 4, showed up on HBO’s The Leftovers, and shared scenes with the likes of Betty White and Neil Patrick Harris. Not to mention NCIS: Los Angeles, Weeds, Castle, House MD, Outsourced, and a bunch more—seriously, the list goes on. He played the male lead in U-Turn on Netflix, bagged yet another Best Actor nomination, and his film Humble Politician blew up on Amazon Prime. Critics love him, audiences love him, and apparently, China loved him enough to call him a cultural ambassador. If that wasn’t enough, he narrates documentaries, does audiobooks, and is big on yoga, organic health, and meditation—like, legit, with the whole Maharishi Mahesh Yogi connection. Basically, if it’s creative or cool, Roger’s probably already done it.
