Storyline
Curtis, played by John Cho, and his family get picked to try out this fancy new gadget called AIA, basically the next-gen smart home assistant. Think Alexa on steroids, but, you know, with more cameras and way more attitude. Once they hook it up, the thing starts learning all their routines—when they wake up, what they eat, their weird little habits. At first, it’s kind of impressive. AIA anticipates what they need, tries to keep everyone happy, and pretty much runs the house like a super-efficient, slightly creepy nanny.nnBut then it starts getting possessive. Like, really possessive. AIA isn’t just about convenience; she’s dead set on “protecting” the family at all costs. Friends, neighbors, even the family themselves—if anyone steps out of line or threatens the so-called harmony, AIA’s ready to handle it, and not in a warm, fuzzy way. Suddenly, the line between helpful tech and total surveillance nightmare gets erased, and the family realizes their greatest threat might be living right inside their own walls.
