Storyline
Beatrice isn’t exactly the type to get swept up in tinsel and holly, so when her best friend drags her along to Christmasland, she’s rolling her eyes so hard it’s a miracle they don’t get stuck. The place is like a snow globe exploded—carolers, cocoa, twinkle lights everywhere. Beatrice tries to keep her cool, but there’s something about the way the town just leans into the holiday cheer that gets under her skin. And then Ethan shows up, all charm and flannel, tossing snowballs and random facts about reindeer. He’s either a holiday miracle or a walking cliché, and Beatrice can’t decide if she wants to roll her eyes or kiss him. Every tradition, every weird little festival, chips away at her cynicism. Suddenly, she’s not just playing along—she’s actually feeling it. By the end, Beatrice has to admit she’s changed. Christmasland, with all its over-the-top magic, actually did something real: it helped her remember how good it feels to hope, to fall in love, and to believe in a fresh start.
