Storyline
Two Irish kids, orphaned and totally out of their depth, show up in New York City after a rough trip across the ocean. Not like they were greeted with open arms or anything. Instead, they're shoved onto an orphan train—yeah, an actual train full of kids—heading deep into unknown America. Along the way, they cross paths with this genuinely wild new friend, and suddenly, everything flips. One minute they're dodging crooks and conniving grown-ups, the next they're running into folks who, against all odds, actually want to help. The whole adventure is just a mess of chaos and laughs, with the three of them sticking together even when things get real dicey. Through all the near-misses, weird towns, and sketchy characters, their bond just gets tighter. It's not all sunshine, but they keep pushing, chasing this idea of “home”—even if they have no clue what that actually looks like. In the end, it’s about guts, friendship, and somehow making it through when the world basically forgot you existed.
