Storyline
Avery “Ave” Graves, a lethal CIA assassin, comes back to Croatia after a Tokyo mission, hoping for a quiet anniversary with her husband, David. Not happening—David gets snatched, and suddenly Ave’s stuck in a nightmare. The kidnapper wants the Canary Black file, which is supposedly hidden in a CIA prisoner’s tooth. Ave ropes in Agent Maxfield, who’s in charge of the prisoner, but the file’s nowhere to be found. Now Ave’s caught in a triple threat: the CIA thinks she’s gone rogue and wants her head, the criminals who took David think she’s hiding the file, and the Croatian Secret Service is tagging along for the ride. Everyone’s after her, trust is shot, and David’s life is on a ticking clock. Between dodging bullets and betrayals, Ave’s gotta outsmart everyone and dig up the real Canary Black, or she’s about to lose everything that matters. Nothing like an anniversary gone completely off the rails.
