During Paris Fashion Week, it’s not uncommon for stars to flock to the City of Lights for multiple days of fashion shows. But Nicole Richie took that commitment to the next level last night — flying to Paris to see Anthony Vaccarello’s Saint Laurent Spring 2025 collection and returning the same day. “If there was one reason for me to go to Paris for 24 hours, it would be to go to the Saint Laurent show,” Richie told Esquire. “I look forward to seeing what Anthony creates each season. I know I’m going to have a fun night.”
Richie certainly picked one of the best (and star-studded) shows of the week: She sat front row with Rosé, Kate Moss, Zoë Kravitz and Gwyneth Paltrow. When Vaccarello’s baggy suits and colorful lace came down the runway, Richie pointed out several looks she wanted to wear. “I love the gold palette with marigold and emerald green,” says Richie. “This suit is perfect.” A longtime fan of the 1970s and bohemian style, Richie said Vaccarello’s clothes fit her own wardrobe perfectly. “Saint Laurent has a sexy, sophisticated vibe with a ’70s spirit,” she said. “It’s elegant as well as edgy. I’ve been wearing YSL for as long as I can remember — both new and old.”
It’s only natural that Richie puts a lot of thought and care into her front-row attire. For a glamorous evening, she chose the brand’s satin olive green mini dress, which she paired with an oversized faux fur coat. “I instantly fell in love [with the dress],” Richie said. “It’s timeless, sexy and sophisticated.” As for accessories, Richie took the classics one step further with slingbacks and gold jewelry. “I love oversized, chunky gold jewelry,” she says. “It reminds me of vintage YSL jewelry from the ’70s.” (Talk about a chic jewelry box.)
Although fashion was the theme of the night, we couldn’t resist asking Richie about her upcoming projects, specifically her mysterious The Simple Life reunion with Paris Hilton. “We just finished filming the reunion special. We had so many laughs while filming it,” Rich said. He added, “We wanted to celebrate 20 years together and show people a side of us they’ve never seen before. Expect a prequel – our origin story, mixed with opera. It’s perfect.”
