Storyline
Sera and John, both itching to hit reset on their city-slicker lives, stumble into what seems like the deal of the century: Emmett Claymore, this oddly charming guy from Portland, just hands them the keys to a jaw-dropping old manor from 1918. Zero strings. Like, who does that? The place is gorgeous—think high ceilings, creaky wood floors, the whole nine yards. But let’s be real, nothing’s ever actually free. Claymore swears he’s on the level, but there’s this weird vibe, you know? And then there’s this cellar door that he’s weirdly insistent they never open. Red flag city. As Sera and John start settling in, little things start to go off—shadows moving where they shouldn’t, that sort of thing. The dream house starts feeling less like a blessing and more like a really elaborate trap. The tension keeps ratcheting up, and soon the couple has to decide: ignore their curiosity and play it safe, or poke around and risk finding out what secrets are locked away beneath their feet.
