Storyline
Chenkol picks up right where Kireedam left off, tossing poor Sethumadhavan back into a life that just won’t cut him a break. He gets out of prison, probably hoping for some kind of redemption or at least a little peace, but nope—life’s got other plans. Everything seems rigged against him. The people around him have their doubts, his family’s struggling, and honestly, it’s just one blow after another. You can feel the weight on his shoulders. Mohanlal just nails that sense of a guy who wanted to do good but keeps getting dragged down by bad luck and worse choices. The Lohi-Sibi team is back at it, painting a bleak but gripping picture of a man who’s lost almost everything—first his “crown” in Kireedam, now his “sceptre” in Chenkol. It’s not just a sequel; it’s the story of a good guy who’s drowning in the mess life keeps throwing at him, and you can’t help but root for him even as things keep spiraling.
