Storyline
Seven years after escaping her abusive husband Rajbir and toxic in-laws, Sakshi’s finally living a quieter life with her daughter Ishani, far from the hell she left behind. Inspector Samar, the guy who actually helped her when things were falling apart, is still around, got her back and everything. Rani, Rajbir’s third wife, is sort of looking after Ishani, who, by the way, can’t go out in sunlight—yeah, she’s different. One night, Sakshi’s not home and Ishani sees something straight out of a nightmare, ends up outside, and next thing you know—she and Rani get snatched by some creeps. Sakshi and Samar go full detective, tracking them down to Rajbir’s village. That place? Not friendly. They get attacked by kids in the fields. Sakshi’s kidnapped again and, plot twist, Rajbir’s alive and nastier than ever. She’s locked up, can hear Ishani screaming somewhere. Ishani’s stuck with Daasi Maa, this evil old woman married to Pradhanji, some ancient brute. They’re planning to sacrifice Ishani, all part of some twisted tradition. Sakshi’s gotta fight Daasi Maa and Rajbir—time’s running out to save her kid.
