Aaron didn’t exactly tumble into the film world by accident—he kinda launched himself straight in, first as an actor and then throwing himself into stunt work. Not everyone can say they’ve racked up so many credits in both film and TV before even turning their gaze to what happens behind the camera. But that’s exactly what he did. He soaked up every little thing from life on set, learning the ropes by just being in the thick of it. By 2008, Aaron was like, “Why not try directing and producing?”—so he dove right in. He didn’t mess around, either. Knocked out a string of short films, found his groove, then jumped into producing features. One of the biggies was “Preggoland,” which had this wild cast—Sonja Bennett, Danny Trejo, and, yeah, James Caan. Not too shabby. That film even snagged a spot at TIFF in 2014. It wasn’t just a festival darling, either—it got a proper North American theatrical release. No small feat, honestly. Even with all that, Aaron’s not the type to sit still. He’s always scribbling away, developing his own stories, dreaming up new projects. Lately, he stepped up to join Brightlight Pictures as a Development Executive. So now he’s got his hands in everything from writing and producing to shaping what gets made next. Basically, if there’s a way to leave his fingerprints on a film, Aaron’s probably already doing it—or he’s about to.
