It’s got that snappy, offbeat humor and a cast of quirky characters you can’t help but root for—even if they’re kinda terrible people. Brooks leans into the chaos, making you question who’s playing who right up to the end. Let’s not skip “Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason” (2004), either. That sequel had big shoes to fill, and Brooks helped keep Bridget’s messy life just as relatable and hilarious as ever. Relationships, awkwardness, and all the cringey moments that make life feel a bit too real? Yep, all there.
