Adam Goldworm grew up in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, which everyone just calls Jewtopia—no filter, that’s the nickname. He bolted out of there with all the classic Hollywood dreams: fame, fortune, you know, the usual delusions. Reality? Well, it smacked him hard. He didn’t even care enough to grab his diploma from UCLA’s fancy film school. His “breakthrough” flick, Luckytown (2000), got a bit of love at Cannes (or at least a mention), then nose-dived straight toward IMDb’s infamous worst 100 list. At least he kept his sense of humor—even if Hollywood snatched his dignity. After getting chewed up by the industry, Adam ditched the LA hustle for Berkeley, chasing an MBA. Spoiler: Business school was a special kind of hell, full of jargon and do-gooder types. He survived by teaching Intro to Film to Berkeley undergrads—beats death by PowerPoint. Even with a shiny new degree and some questionable experience smashing breakaway glass, Hollywood still wasn’t calling. But hey, things finally took a turn. He started at Industry Entertainment, literally answering phones. Classic. Five years later, he’d climbed from broke assistant to Executive Vice President of TV, which sounds impressive until you realize he was still underpaid. He wrangled talent, managed hotshot careers, and spent way too much time freezing his butt off in Canada producing TV anthologies that never quite matched his Twilight Zone obsession. By 2009, Adam bailed on Industry and launched Aperture Entertainment. So far, so good—and nope, he’s not changing his name.
