Akshaya Hindalkar

Akshaya Hindalkar, born May 17, 1996, in Mumbai, is one of those faces that just pops up everywhere in the Marathi entertainment scene. She’s not from some acting dynasty or anything—she actually started dabbling in theater during her college days at Modern College Vashi. No fancy drama school, just a real love for the craft and some solid basics picked up from Mr. Pednekar, her mentor back then. It’s kind of wild how fast she made her mark. Her first big break came in 2016, when she landed a role in “Saraswati” on Colors Marathi. She wasn’t the main lead or anything, but her character totally clicked with the audience—people actually started noticing her. It’s always the supportive roles that sneak up and steal the show, right? Fast forward a few years, and she’s making her movie debut in 2019 with “Rocky.” Not bad at all. Then in 2020, she pops up on Star Pravah’s “Tuzya Ishkacha Naad Khula” as Swati, just casually adding another solid performance to her resume.
