Born smack in the middle of Northampton, England back in ‘53, the guy’s basically a walking, talking myth at this point. You hear “Watchmen,” and yeah, that’s Moore. “V for Vendetta”? Yup, that’s him too. He’s got this knack for spinning these gritty, layered worlds where the heroes aren’t exactly squeaky clean and the villains—well, sometimes they’re just a little too relatable for comfort. He didn’t just stick to comics, though. Nah, he’s got his fingerprints all over movies like “From Hell” and “The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.” Now, if you’re expecting him to show up at a Hollywood party, think again—he’s famously cranky about film adaptations of his work.
