Alice Belaïdi

Alice grew up in Nîmes, France, and honestly, it seems like she was born for the stage. She kicked things off crazy young—just seven—getting into local theater gigs before most kids even figure out what they want for lunch. From ’99 to 2003, she got serious about her craft, studying acting with Raymond Vinciguerra at Théâtre du Chêne Noir. That’s not just some after-school drama class—it’s hardcore training, and you can totally see how it shaped her. Fast forward to 2003, and Alice is basically living on stage, bouncing from one theater production to another. But the real game-changer comes in 2008. She lands the lead role of Jbara in “Confidence to Allah,” a play adapted from a best-selling novel. It’s a big deal—she’s front and center, carrying the whole story. The play takes off, goes on a national tour, and Alice sticks around for two solid years. Not a bad run, right? Apparently, the critics agreed, because in 2010, she snagged the “Best Female Newcomer” at the Molière Awards. Kind of like the French version of the Tonys, so yeah, it’s a flex. Since 2011, she’s been popping up in all sorts of films and TV shows.
