And not in a casual “oh, I like movies” way—more like the dude who lights up talking about story beats, pacing, and how a single shadow changes everything. There’s a contagious energy when he’s on about character arcs or why a certain shot just works. Nerdy? Maybe. But he owns it. He’s mostly knee-deep in TV and feature films—that’s his sweet spot. Still, if he can sneak off and mess around with a commercial or a short film, he’s all in. Shooting in LA is home turf, but honestly, the guy’s been everywhere. Barcelona, New Zealand, Albania—he’s got stories (good ones). Plus, he keeps dropping hints about wanting more gigs in Europe, so, you know, someone fly him out already. Work-wise, Andy’s got three big rules: nail the story, care about the characters, and don’t be a jerk on set. The job’s too cool to not have a good time, right? If you’re not laughing once in a while, what’s even the point? Oh, and let’s be real, writing this in third person? Kinda weird. Like, who am I trying to fool? Shouldn’t someone else be hyping me up?
