Audrey Ismaël, honestly, she’s just everywhere in the French music and cinema scene—no exaggeration. She’s not just a musician, she’s a singer, a composer, a writer, and even a screenwriter. Talk about juggling hats. For years, she’s been scoring music for films and TV, and if you’ve ever heard the soundtrack for “Les Grands,” you already know she’s got the chops. That show even scooped up awards at the La Rochelle Festival in 2016 and 2017, which is no small feat. Then in 2019, she snatched up the “Best Soundtrack” award at FFTV in La Rochelle for the third season of “Les Grands”—and she wasn’t flying solo on that one. Bastien Burger was right there with her, and together they also worked on the soundtrack for “Chacun pour tous,” a feature film directed by Vianney Lebasque. Those two clearly have some serious creative chemistry. Besides all that, Audrey’s in the band Smoking Smoking. Their debut album “It’s All About Love” dropped back in 2013 under Universal, and if you haven’t checked it out yet, what are you doing? Get on it.
