Barath Vikraman
Barath Vikraman’s filmography is kind of wild, honestly. The dude clearly isn’t afraid to try new things, and you can catch that energy in everything he’s put out so far. Take “Good Night” (2023) for instance—this one’s a low-key gem. It’s not your standard rom-com, though, because it dives head-first into the little annoyances and quirks of everyday life, especially when you’re stuck with family and dealing with, well, snoring. Yep, snoring. You’d think it’d get old fast, but the way Barath handles the humor and the awkwardness? Pretty clever. The characters feel real, like folks you’d run into at a tea shop, and the story has this comforting slice-of-life vibe. Nothing super dramatic, but it just works.
Then there’s “Shot Boot Three” (2023), which goes in a totally different direction. It’s got that kids-movie energy, all about friendship, adventure, and the kind of chaos only a group of children can cook up. There’s a sense of nostalgia woven in—think schoolyard games, secret plans, and a dash of mischief. The way Barath balances goofy antics with actual heart is kinda impressive. The cast of kids is a riot, and the story keeps moving at a pace that never really drags.
Now, “Dude” (2025) is still under wraps, but if Barath’s track record holds, it’ll probably have that same mix of sharp wit and relatability. He’s not afraid to poke fun at life’s weird moments, and that’s what makes his stuff fun to watch. Not everyone can pull off that kind of balancing act, but this guy? He just gets it.
