Benjamin Pajak
Benjamin Pajak’s been absolutely everywhere lately—and not just in the “oh hey, I think I recognize that kid” way. He tackled Young Chuck in Mike Flanagan’s The Life of Chuck, brushing shoulders with heavyweights like Tom Hiddleston, Jacob Tremblay, Karen Gillan, and the legendary Mark Hamill. Not a shabby lineup, right? That film snagged the People’s Choice Award at TIFF last year, so it’s not just critics giving slow claps—the public’s all in too. It’s hitting theaters everywhere this June, so expect to see his face plastered on screens soon.
But he didn’t stop there. Nope, Benjamin’s also starring in Tiny Fugitives, a Seth Rogen/Point Grey production, where he’s acting opposite Johnny Knoxville. Michael Lewen’s directing, which kind of tells you it’s gonna be a wild ride. And because apparently, the kid doesn’t take naps, he’s wrapping up his trifecta this year with Playdate, acting as Kevin James’ stepson, sharing scenes with Alan Ritchson, Alan Tudyk, Stephen Root, and Isla Fisher. That’s… a lot.
Pajak isn’t just a movie guy, either. He’s got theater chops out the wazoo—he nailed “Winthrop” on Broadway in The Music Man, right up there with Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster, even snagging The Theater World Award for his troubles. Not to mention, critics went nuts for his take on Oliver in NY City Center Encores!, holding his own with Raul Esparza. Honestly, if you haven’t heard his name yet, you’re probably about to.
