Bill Bekele
Bill Bekele kicked things off in London’s Cambridge Theatre with Matilda the Musical back in 2017, jumping headfirst into the West End scene. Didn’t take him long to make noise on TV either—he popped up as Hansel in Sky’s twisted Hansel & Gretel: After Ever After, sharing the screen with the likes of David Walliams, Sheridan Smith, and Lily Aspell. The guy’s got range. Fast-forward to 2021, and he’s rubbing elbows with Nicholas Hoult on The Great, slipping into the role of Alyosha like it’s no big deal.
But Bill’s not stopping there. He’s kept busy with stints on big-name projects—if you blinked you might’ve missed him in Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon, but trust me, he was there, holding his own in a cast full of heavyweights. There’s also Sky Atlantic’s Britannia, which—let’s be honest—doesn’t hand out roles to just anyone. And don’t forget Genius, another notch on his growing belt.
Basically, Bill Bekele’s acting resume is all over the map, in the best way possible. He’s one of those faces that keeps popping up in shows everyone’s talking about, and each time he brings something a little different. Whether he’s in a gritty fantasy epic or a quirky modern fairy tale, the dude’s got chops and isn’t afraid to show it. If you’re the type to keep tabs on rising talent, Bill’s definitely one to watch.
