Tenet’s basically a head-trip where time messes with you more than your own alarm clock. The main guy? Nobody even calls him by name—he’s just “The Protagonist,” which, come on, is kinda wild. He gets dragged into this shadowy fight to save the world, but it’s not your usual bombs and bad guys. Nope, we’re talking bullets and cars literally moving backwards, like someone hit rewind on reality. There’s this tech that makes things travel in reverse, and if that sounds confusing, well, it absolutely is. Trust me, you’ll be squinting at the screen, trying to keep up with who’s inverted, who’s not, and what the heck is even happening. Kenneth Branagh pops up as this scary Russian villain with a God complex, and there’s a ton of globe-trotting, shootouts, and brain-melting time shenanigans. Nolan really went all-in on the “confuse the audience” energy for this one.
