Caitlin Houlahan
Caitlin Houlahan grew up in Aurora, Ohio, seriously smack in the middle of Midwest suburbia. She’s not your average small-town kid, though—music was in her bones from the get-go. By the time she finished high school, she was dead-set on making it big in musical theater. So she packed her bags and headed to Baldwin Wallace University, majoring in Music Theatre. She basically lived for rehearsals, late-night karaoke, and all the chaos that comes with being a theater kid. Graduated in 2014, by the way. Not even six months later, she somehow landed herself on national television with Peter Pan Live! on NBC. Yeah, that wild production starring Allison Williams, Minnie Driver, and Christopher Walken. Pretty wild first gig, honestly.
Things didn’t slow down after that. In 2016, she finally made her Broadway debut—total dream come true—playing Dawn in Waitress. If you know Broadway, you know that’s a big deal. She was sharing the stage with heavy hitters like Jessie Mueller, Sara Bareilles (yes, that Sara Bareilles), Katherine McPhee, Jordin Sparks, and Jason Mraz. It’s like, every time she turned around, there was another famous face. These days, she’s living in New York City—classic theater kid move. Probably dodging tourists in Times Square and grabbing dollar pizza between auditions. But really, she’s the type who never seems to stop moving, always chasing the next big stage, and honestly, she’s just getting started.
