Cam Cannon grew up in the Atlanta suburbs, smack dab in the middle of four siblings, always glued to the TV or sneaking into the local theater. Movies were his thing before he even knew it was a “thing.” After wrapping up at the University of Georgia in ‘95, he bounced around Atlanta, picking up odd jobs and, honestly, doing whatever paid the bills. Somewhere in the chaos, he helped crank out a micro-budget movie—probably more passion than paycheck, but hey, everyone starts somewhere. By ‘99, LA was calling, so he packed up and headed west. No surprise, the city’s not exactly rolling out the red carpet for newcomers. Cam wound up reading scripts for free (because Hollywood loves “opportunities”) while hustling in retail to keep the lights on. Eventually, he landed at Hannibal Pictures in 2004. That’s where things got real. He got his hands dirty working on projects like Casino Jack, The Big Bang, and Give 'Em Hell Malone—movies with some serious attitude. A few years in, Cam’s role just kept growing. With films like Tokarev (or Rage, depending on who you ask) and USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage, he wasn’t just helping out—he was steering the ship. He stuck around Hannibal for a good stretch, building up his cred, and then in 2019, decided it was time to switch things up. He took off for Enderby Entertainment, onto whatever wild ride came next in the movie biz. Guy’s story?
