Craig DeLeon

Bronx native Craig DeLeon’s journey in music kicked off when he was just a kid, totally floored by Prince’s “I Wanna Be Your Lover.” Fast forward—he’s racking up serious praise for his work on a bunch of high-profile projects. He’s the guy behind that stirring Main Title Theme in Apple+’s documentary Sidney (yep, the one Oprah produced and Reginald Hudlin directed). And if you’ve caught The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey with Samuel L. Jackson, or Netflix’s End of the Road featuring Queen Latifah and Ludacris, you’ve already heard his signature touch. But the guy’s not slowing down. He’s got scores lined up for all kinds of upcoming stuff—think the Velma reboot on HBOMax with Mindy Kaling, plus a fresh spin on Fatal Attraction for Paramount+ starring Lizzy Caplan and Joshua Jackson, and even Shadow Force, Joe Carnahan’s new flick for Lionsgate. His range is nuts—one minute he’s doing emotional docs like Showtime’s Supervillain: The Making of Tekashi 6ix9ine or Amazon’s Untrapped: The Story of Lil Baby, the next he’s composing for Sia’s Golden Globe-nominated film Music. Way back, Craig started out at Propaganda Films, working under Spike Jonze and brainstorming music video concepts with legends like David Fincher, Antoine Fuqua, Michel Gondry, and Michael Bay. These days, he’s based in LA with his two kids, still pushing out scores that hit you right in the feels.
