Deniz Balkanli
Deniz Balkanli—born June 22, 1993, right in the heart of Istanbul—got tossed into the acting world before most kids learned to tie their shoes. Her first gig? A TV commercial at age six. Kinda wild, right? Fast forward a bit, and she’s juggling high school (in French, no less) while fronting the school band as lead vocalist. Talk about multitasking.
Once she snagged her diploma, she dove straight into the behind-the-scenes grind as an assistant director. That lasted about a year before she packed her bags for L.A., chasing a degree in Psychology in Santa Monica. Didn’t stick around forever, though. Istanbul called her back, and she switched lanes, picking up Management of Performing Arts at Bilgi University. Oh, and somewhere in there, she started a photography gig—Objective Project—because apparently sleep is optional.
Her acting career? Just kept snowballing. Deniz has popped up everywhere: commercials, billboards, glossy magazines, TV shows, short films—even a movie or two. She’s worked with some heavy hitters—Coca-Cola, Penti, Fiat, Haribo, Ulker, Molped. Star power, for sure. But she’s not just in front of the camera; she’s hung around as an assistant director and art director, too.
Now? She’s basically a Swiss Army knife—acting, modeling, voice-over, and making music. Busy doesn’t even begin to cover it.
