Straight outta Greensboro, North Carolina, Drew ditched the southern comfort for Carnegie Mellon and then hit the NYC grind to chase the actor’s life. The guy’s got some serious Broadway cred—remember the revival of On A Clear Day You Can See Forever? Drew nailed Warren, sharing the stage with the legend himself, Harry Connick, Jr. Not stopping there, he jumped into Jersey Boys on Broadway, and yeah, he was the OG Bob Gaudio when Chicago got its own take on that hit show. He’s been all over the American theatre map—Lincoln Center, Goodman in Chicago, Paper Mill, the Atlantic, Playwrights Horizons, even the Utah Shakespearean Fest (because why not?). And, come on, his resume is stacked: A Minister’s Wife, Billy & Ray, Anne of Green Gables (yeah, the Off-Broadway one), and a bunch more. Directors basically line up for him. When Drew’s not under stage lights, he’s killing it at concerts. He’s belted solos at Alice Tully Hall for Zane Zalis’ “I Believe,” rocked the World Science Festival’s Gala at Jazz at Lincoln Center, and popped up in a bunch of live broadcasts and composer fests at 54-Below. He’s worked with names like Frank Wildhorn and Drew Brody too. And get this—he’s not just about the applause. Drew co-authored a paper with NYU’s Voice Center about pro singers, pulling in academic buzz. He’s juggling post-bacc studies at Columbia, already holding a degree from Carnegie Mellon’s legendary School of Drama. Guy’s got brains and pipes.
