Dylan J. Locke
Dylan J. Locke kinda feels like the guy you’d root for in just about any story—he’s got that earnest, “wears-his-heart-on-his-sleeve” vibe, and it totally bleeds into his work. Fresh out of USC’s School of Dramatic Arts (yeah, he’s got the chops), he’s already racked up some wild credits: dubbing for Netflix, a co-star spot on Star Trek: Picard (honestly, who lands that right outta college?), and now he’s going toe-to-toe with Raymond Cruz in Alien Vacation. Not bad for a recent grad.
But he’s not just about chasing the spotlight. While at USC, Dylan actually started Modern Minority Theatre Co., which—get this—was the first group at the school that really gave underrepresented artists a place to shine. The guy’s a doer, not just a talker. Back in spring 2019, he even produced and directed their award-winning run of “Krunk Fu Battle Battle,” a hip hop musical from Qui Nguyen that tore it up on campus. Energy for days.
And then the pandemic hit, right? Most folks just sat around in sweatpants. Not Dylan. He went full DIY and built a legit voiceover studio at home. Next thing you know, he’s cranking out V.O. gigs for Netflix, Audible, Minidoka Pilgrimage, you name it. The hustle never stops. Basically, if you’re into actors who actually give a damn and can do just about everything, keep an eye on this guy.
