Eboni Nichols
Eboni Nichols is basically the definition of a multi-hyphenate—producer, choreographer, dancer, you name it. She’s the brains behind E. Nichols Productions, this company she just kicked off that’s already making waves with live award shows. Seriously, her recent credits are kind of wild: the 97th Academy Awards, the Grammys (no big deal, right?), Kennedy Center Honors, Jamie Foxx’s Netflix special “What Had Happened Was,” and the Grammys Presents Hip Hop 50th. It’s like, if there’s a major event with a stage and cameras, she’s probably somewhere in the mix, pulling strings or mapping out dance numbers.
But don’t sleep on her choreography game—Eboni’s been killing it for more than 15 years. Her moves have popped up in movies like Night School and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, plus TV shows like Fresh Off the Boat, Loot, Jane the Virgin, and American Idol. Her style? Always fresh, always on-point, and you can tell she knows how to light up a stage or screen.
Before all that, she was tearing it up as a dancer—talk about a resume! She’s performed in music videos and toured with absolute legends: Beyoncé, Rihanna, Usher, Aaliyah. Not exactly a shabby list. And back in the day, she was an actress and rocked that iconic purple and gold as a member of the Los Angeles Laker Girls.
Eboni’s also played a big role behind the scenes, serving as Co-Governor of the Choreography Peer Group for the Television Academy. Basically, she’s been around, done it all, and isn’t stopping anytime soon.
