Egor Koreshkov

Egor Koreshkov, born in Moscow on March 31, 1986, basically had music running through his veins thanks to his family. The guy didn’t just coast on that, though—he actually went and graduated from GITIS, which, if you know Russian theater, is kind of a big deal. On stage, he’s played some heavy hitters: Arbenin in Masquerade-Masquerade, Vlad in The Slow Sword, and Morris Faitelson in Shosha. All solid roles that show he’s no one-trick pony. But honestly, where he really blew up was on TV, landing the role of Stas Tikhanovich in The 80’s. That show ran for five years, so clearly people liked what he was doing. Then came Kiss Them All in 2013—massive box office hit in Russia. Seriously, the thing made over $25 million on a shoestring budget. Guess you could say it made him a household name overnight. After that, Koreshkov kept the momentum going with films like Brother Ch, which scored him the Aleksander Abdulov’s Spirit of Fire award at the Moscow International Film Festival. Not bad, right? And just to flex, he bagged the same award again the next year for Parallel Lines Cross in Infinity. The man’s on a roll. He’s also been in a bunch of other flicks—Winter Journey, Ballet in Flames of War, Metamorhozis, Champions: Faster, Higher, Stronger. Oh, and don’t forget about his TV work in Sofia and Optimists. He even stepped into the sci-fi world with Project Gemini, filmed in English, just to shake things up. The dude’s career? Seriously impressive.
