Man, talking about my journey in the world of filmmaking is honestly a bit wild. I never planned on juggling both entrepreneurship and cinema, but somehow, I ended up thriving in both arenas—probably thanks to my stubborn obsession with stories and visuals. The whole “24 crafts of filmmaking” thing? Yeah, I dove into all of it, sleeves rolled up, figuring things out the hard way as I took a movie from a random idea in my head to an actual, finished film. No shortcuts, just a lot of caffeine, sleepless nights, and a team that managed to put up with my perfectionism.
I’m not just about the creative stuff, though. I’ve always got my business hat nearby, trying to balance art and commerce without losing my mind. It’s a weird mix, but it works for me. That mix really paid off when I got to co-direct and associate direct “Lucky Lakshman.” That project? Total game-changer. I learned way more than I bargained for—about storytelling, wrangling a crew, dealing with last-minute disasters, and somehow keeping the vision alive through all the chaos.
These experiences taught me how to actually lead a team and bring something meaningful to the screen, not just dream about it. I’m still hungry, still pushing myself, and always chasing that next boundary to break. The hustle never ends, but hey, that’s where the fun is.
