Hebah Patel
Hebah Patel, born and raised in Mumbai, kind of snuck into the Telugu film scene and just never left. She’s this Mumbai girl from a Kannada-speaking Muslim family, did her college gig at Sophia College for Women, and then—bam—modeling, like half the actresses out there. That modeling stint totally paved the way for her acting debut, first in Kannada with Adyaksha back in 2014. Same year, she dipped her toes into Tamil (Thirumanam Enum Nikkah) and Telugu (Ala Ela). Busy, right?
But let’s be real, everything changed for her with Kumari 21F in 2015. She played Meena Kumari and absolutely killed it. The movie blew up, she snagged a couple awards, and suddenly people couldn’t stop talking about her. After that, she just kept stacking up those Telugu hits—Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada, Andhhagadu, Angel… the list goes on.
She’s not just a “pretty face,” either—Hebah’s got range. She’s done rom-coms, dramas, even web series like Masti’s in 2020. Movies like 24 Kisses and Orey Bujjiga showed off a totally different side of her, more mature, more layered. Off-screen, she keeps things pretty chill. Not a lot of drama, just a love for photography and hanging out with nature when she’s not working. All in all, Hebah’s become one of those actresses who can pull off both the commercial blockbusters and the more artsy stuff without breaking a sweat.
