Jacopo Baggio
Jacopo Baggio’s name is starting to float around more and more, and honestly, it’s not hard to see why. He’s got his hands in some seriously interesting stuff lately. Take “Fountain of Youth” (2025) for example—people are already buzzing about it and it hasn’t even hit theaters yet. The whole premise is wild: a group of misfits chasing after immortality, risking everything and getting way more than they bargained for. You’ve got betrayals, weird science, and a bunch of characters who are just barely holding it together. It’s got that mix of suspense and dark humor that kind of sneaks up on you, and Baggio’s touch is all over it. The visuals? Supposedly stunning. There’s talk of trippy dream sequences and some genuinely unsettling moments.
And then there’s “Paddington in Peru” (2024). Way different vibe, obviously, but Baggio still manages to leave his mark. Paddington ends up following his roots back to the jungles of Peru, and what starts as a sweet family reunion spirals into a wild adventure. There’s jungle chases, some new faces (and a few shady ones), plus the usual Paddington-style chaos. It’s got laughs, but also a surprising amount of heart. Baggio’s role might not be front and center, but his influence shows in the way the story weaves together humor, adventure, and those tearjerker moments. Both films, totally different lanes, but each one shows off Baggio’s knack for storytelling that sticks with you.
